I was so excited about getting this book. I can't remember how I found Ali's blog, but when I did, I was hooked. Ali uses a tool. called the spiralizer, (although she just came out with her own, the Inspiralizer) to turn vegetables into noodles that can be used as a replacement for wheat noodles, rice (and even buns!) in delicious recipes, turning those cheat meals into healthy meals after all. The taste is not compromised, because these meals taste just as good as the originals, but without the guilt and the sluggishness after. When I found Inspiralized, I bought a spiralizer and my journey began. Then I stopped using it for some reason and recently decided to pick it up again. When I saw Ali's cookbook and new Inspiralizer, I knew I had to get them.
The book is beautiful. What I love about the recipes is that they are all either new or upgraded from the ones on her blog. No repeats! Everything I've made so far has been wonderful. My favorite is the Rutabaga Turkey Casserole with Gruyère-Broccoli Bread Crumbs. So delicious! This weekend, Ali's Chocolate Chip Sweet Potato Muffins are on the books!
I love love love this book and highly recommend checking out Ali's website for more delicious recipes.
**I received this book complimentary from Blogging for Books for review purposes. All opinions are my own.**
